Nikon Z6 for Nature Photography

Hi,

I currently use the Nikon D750.  I will be traveling to the cloud and rain forest in five months where it's dark even when it's sunny under the trees.  The two advantages I'd like are the in body stabilization and the focus points that actually cover much of the frame when I rarely need autofocus. D750s focus points are mainly useless in my opinion due to lack of coverage.

My questions:

1. Do Zeiss ZF.2 lenses function well with the adapter?  I use these lenses most of the time and the stabilization will help a lot here.

2. How does the lag with EVF compare with a viewfinder?  I shoot a lot of close-up work so very small movements can ruin the photo if I can't see them.

3. Does the AF work well with bright backgrounds and dark foregrounds as one would find in a dark forest?

Thank you for your help!
