Here's the thing - you made a careless statement about perceived build quality without knowing a thing about what you speak.
I knew that Leica’s are made from brass, and so now do you.
This is what I was looking at - tell me I didn't see brass. Got it? Can you see that brass on the left? Am I color blind? Did I think it was plastic? Give me a break. You were careless and clueless.

Just to check - are you showing me this diagram to prove there is brass inside as well as the outside of a Leica?
No, I'm showing you build quality and the fact that I knew there was brass. Was only talking about the chassis. What they attach all over the camera is another matter.
What they attach all over the camera being brass. Just to be clear.
Is this whole exchange going the way you thought it would?
Yes, I've come to expect this nonsense from you.
That’s some brass neck.
To be clear, I stand by every nanometre of my original point. Much of the perceived build quality of a Leica stems from the fact that when you pick one up, you are literally holding and touching an object made of brass. Brass top plate, brass controls, brass bottom plate, and some nice leatherette in the middle. You can quibble all you want about the chassis, the chassis isn’t what people see or feel, that brass is.
So what? You claimed the all brass camera was since the 50s and that was the reason for the feel.
I said that Leica’s are made from brass, and they are. I said/implied that their design dates from the 50s and it does. So far so good.
Top and bottom plate - sure, feels good. Used to create a false sense of build quality as you claimed?
I never said or implied that anything was being done deliberately to create a false sense of build quality, that’s your own inference. I simply believe that many people compare both and come away with a misleading sense of superior build quality in the Leica simply because it has a bit more heft and solidity due to that brass. I was actually reacting to Truman’s exaggerated comment that the X-Pro2 feels “tinny” in comparison. Objectively there’s nothing tinny about the XP2, the metal you feel is the very mag alloy you've been so keen to point out that Leica choose to build all of their chassis from.
What do we mean by build quality anyway? Are Leica’s more reliable than Fuji? Do you believe that they are or do you have figures? Going back to my original point, if we chuck both down the stairs do you honestly expect the Leica to fare better?
What you're arguing ones again is from a place of ignorance and you thought everyone would listen to your authoritative claims.
This sentence did not go well for you.
Also, not going dignify your other last word nonsense statement.
Pretty accurate though, right?
