Best portrait lens for an amateur shoot?

My friend needs a couple of headshots for her new job. They don't need to be professionally taken but do need to look "professional", so she reached out to me. I have never done portrait photography, which I warned her about, so this is more of an experiment and amateur's job for both of us.

I live in NYC so I'm thinking of borrowing a portrait lens from the Fuji Wonder Shop in Manhattan for the job and then promptly returning it at the end of the day. My question is, what is the best lens I should go for in my situation? The 56mm, 60mm, 80mm, or 90mm? Is one better for indoor portraits against a plain wall versus an outdoor setting? I know a lot of it is subjective so I'm essentially asking for a poll of what most people find to be the popular lens for portraits. Thanks!
