White vs. Silver Softboxes

I have had a few silver softboxes.  This is from an advice that I saw on YouTube. The guy claimed that one should always get a silver softbox. So I have acquired a number of silver softboxes of various sizes. However, my last addition to my collection is a white softbox. I have found that it is much better in term of light uniformity. I wanted to share my findings and get feedback from this group.

Most of my softboxes are from either Glow or Cheetahstand. From my testing, the softboxes with silver interior are brighter around the edges. The one with white interior is much more uniform. All of them have double diffusers. I don't put the reflective plate in them. So they have the same configuration.

Glow 34" Beauty Dish (the only one with white interior)

Glow 60" Octa Softbox

Glow 28" Deep Parabolic Softbox

Cheetahstand 42" QSB

Cheetahstand 34" QSB
