Just to understand better :

  1. How do 15 and 45 lw/mm translate in terms of number of pixels ?
  2. What are exactly Sagittal and Meridional ? Are really lenses performing so much differently regarding the orientation of lines to resolve ?

- 15 lpmm measure contrast and 45 lpmm measure resolution. Used to be 10 and 30 for older lenses.

- sagittal lines are lines radiating out from the centre. Meridional lines are perpendicular to them. A large difference between the two usually hints at poor (nervous) bokeh.
