You read English differently that written. It does not say smartphones is the one where the technology is most expanding. But neither you nor I actually know and it very well might be.

Perhaps I do understand differently than you. I am used to the word "most" meaning "superlative of many" or "greatest in amount or degree".

Hence there can only be one area where "technology is most expanding."

I disagree with the claim that the area where smartphone technology is most expanding is camera technology. My belief is that smartphone camera technology is moving at about the same pace as other areas of smartphone technology.

You are one of the most stubborn posters on this forum.

Let's try not digress into talking about the people participating.   While we don't all agree, I think we are all trying to make positive contributions.
