Yep, I like the Cloud synchronisation too. Once the image is on my iPhone or iPad its everywhere, including my photo library a home.

Currently, the one thing to bear in mind is how you edit (RAW or JPEG). Photos will ripple their edits from one device to another, but it's tricky to mix editing programmes at the moment.

For example:

Edits in iOS will ripple through to your desktop Photos and the image can be re-edited, etc, without loss of any quality and you are still working on the original high-quality RAW or JPEG. There's no need to create any duplicates as the original is never altered.

Edits in some 3rd party programmes work in the same way, if they have an iOS version and a desktop version (RAW Power is one I think).
