Andromeda

I had planned to put some imaging time in on M27 (Dumbbell nebula) and/or Cat's Eye nebula (NGC6543) with the "big" telescope (EdgeHD 9.25"), but... the mount tracking decided to be very poor and only a couple of the subs had round stars (with and with out the 0.7x reducer).

Having reached my frustration limit on M27 I decided to see how the tracking/guiding would work with the SVQ100. So I put the "small" telescope (SVQ100, 580mm f/5.8) on the mount (EQ6R Pro), and aimed at M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) to get some imaging time in on it without the Moon wrecking the sky.

M31 on Astrobin
