Correct.

Why waste the time and money on something people just aren't looking for. Even in these forums, the only person I ever see pushing it is the one doing so in this thread.  And boy do they push it.

I can see why phone users want (need) it, but not camera users.

Noise reduction will be a real challenge. Computational photography will be able to provide a clean and noise free low light image

At a cost of IQ, but what phone user will even care.

, however, the computed details may not match those that were present in real life.
