30mm Oly Macro vs $$ 60mm Oly Macro?

Hi, looking for expertise and feedback about the 30mm 3.5 Olympus macro vs the 60mm 2.8 macro.

The 30mm is on sale for $300 Canadian and the 60mm goes for $479.

After looking at two YouTube videos, my understanding of the differences between them are:

1. 30mm you have to get significantly closer to object

2. 30mm provides up to 1.25 magnification

3. 30mm is not weather sealed, does not have the Zero lens coating

4. Closeness required by the 30mm may inhibit light

5. 60 mm has ‘pro’ practical features on the lens such as the ability to specify focus distance limitations to prevent excessive focus searching

6. You can use the 60mm as a portrait lens in a pinch

Any experience with these lenses? Are people satisfied with the 30mm?

I have the pen ep-5, so I can’t take advantage of focus stacking, and honestly I don’t have focus rails etc etc.

i’m just Looking at the 30mm as a nice casual and inexpensive way to get into macro. So maybe the features of the 60mm will be lost in me.

When my Pen ep-5 dies, no doubt any new Olympus I buy will have the focus stacking feature.
