I find the camera-systems you mention way too large for travelling and street photography. I say 'system' because the lenses for those Nikons and Canons are going to be considerably large.

If you get the Panasonic G90 your lenses will be smaller; therefore, your system will be smaller. There is a very mature ecosystem of lenses; two manufacturers covering ever possible zoomrange or prime-lenght, with Pro lenses or consumer-grade lenses. There is also a considerable 2nd hand market.
