For most the best investments to make in photography are time and travel

The bulk of getting good photos is putting yourself in front of great subjects. From there the photos basically take themselves. You look at my gear list now... haven't really got many great photos with it because I don't go anywhere these days. All my great photos were taken on my travels with my old NEX-C3 and A7II. And with a kid now the bulk of my shooting is videos on my phone.
