A7 + Sony 16-35 f4 (Tamron 17-28 f2.8) OR A7RII + 28mm f2 (Samyang 24 2.8). And why?

FWIW. If you cannot put your finger on your upgrade then it probably isn't a logical decision. Then again not all decisions need to be logical. What you are saying about "premium feel". The a6000 has always been a basic model in a basic body with much higher performance. The a7 models all offer more direct control and a more premium build quality. Is that worth the layout you want......

Now when you said you are happy with the performance of the a6000 outside a vague "improvement " factor. You may be completely fine with the a7ii AF. If you have cooperative models the simpler AF may work, and the sensor MAY be Overkill for you. The a7ii may be a good fit

Only you know for sure. If you don't know then please hold onto your money until you do know .one of the lenses you want (the Tamron) is likely to be hard to get for a while if Tamron releases a hit
