Finally someone older than me! That is great advice. The name Russ stirred a few memories. I seem to recall a Phil Rivers and Tom Horn but I may be slightly off. Good guys even if I mixed up their names. Recently hearing photoperzon had passed away bummed me out. I will say this about aging: I have seen petty fights over the years on the DPR and have read some after cancer treatments. Come home from that and it all seems so minor. Cameras are not something to get that worked up over. An attack on your family deserves a response but camera comments should not cause battles. cgarrard's advice is perfect. I love "..stay active, stay interested..".

My G line...G10, G11 and I have given both to family. Good cameras. Lots of fun shooting. I STILL have my G15 but rarely shoot with it. It is like new. I once posted concert shots I took with that small camera and they weren't bad.

Here is one. I have since moved on to the RX100 Sony line as my small concert camera because I think the bigger sensor helps in low light/no flash situations.  I am still happy with what the small sensor on the G15 gave me. Most venues don't allow larger cameras:
