I appear to have bought a rare camera. I normally use a leica iiif and wanted a fully mechanical camera with less to go wrong.

I'm hoping someone can give me a bit of history. This camera has the serial no 8339195. It has no mirror lock, no self timer and no shutter or aperture settings in the viewfinder. It has the asa on the back not the film type holder. I'm guessing it's a rare change over. The camera works perfectly. The only model fitting this description should have a maximum of 1/500 of a second shutter speed. This has 1/1000. I'm sure someone has an idea of its history. It has no flash hotshoe just the holder. Basically it appears to be without features normal to this model.

Visit the Rokkor files website for details on the SRT 100 and others in the SRT line. Best collection of Minolta SRT info (cameras and lenses) that you'll find. The page for the SRT 100 is here.
