Just ordered a RX100M4, any advice? i used to have the M1 and RX10M1.

Hi Just looking for a little advice or any tips for the RX100IV?

I have had the RX100M1 before and that was a brilliant camera at the time, i then got an RX10M1 as i wanted the same camera with a better zoom, I have found myself not really using it though due to weight and now having a baby it doesn't feel practical.

With zoom not being as important now i thought I’d go back to the rx100.

I have had a look though all 6 models and even though M6 looked really nice with the same zoom as my RX10 the price was just too much to justify. I noticed that from the M4 version up they used a new stacking sensor and some other features seem the same as in the newer models, so the M4 version seemed a good camera to now get, i got it for £400 on Amazon warehouse where it was listed as 'like new' I can always send it back if anything is wrong with it. At the moment a brand new one is £595, so I’m hoping I’ve got myself a little bargain.

Is it worth upgrading the FW to V2 if it’s not already V2?

It the camera itself and use more or less exact to the M1 version of the RX100?

Any advice or tips would be much appreciated

James
