Fungus or haze/condensation on Nikon 16-80mm f/2.8-4 DX VR?

Sorry, English is not my first language.
Recently, I´ve been cleaning my lenses and I noticed an issue with my Nikon 16-80mm f/2.8-4 DX VR. The lens is relatively new, I bought it 2 years back and used it occasionally.

This white residue appears inside the lens somewhere behind the rear element.
It´s visible mostly under a reflected (not straight) source of light (not sure if I explain myself).

I do have a feeling it affects lens sharpness and I´m afraid that if it´s fungus it might spread to other lenses.
How can I understand if it´s fungus or just haze and what could I do in this situation?

I store all my lenses in Lowepro bags with lots of silica gel bags in the dark wardrobe.
All other lenses look clean. I even had an old Nikon 35-70 f/2.8 that is very prone to these problems but it was always crystal clear.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
