Who will care?

I'm not under any illusion about what will happen to my archives when I am gone.

However, lets for the sake of argument, assume the archives are for a museum and have to be available for future generations.

The negatives will breakdown eventually and become dust.

However under careful archival procedures they should be reproduceable for about 100 years.

There have been some very interesting ideas put forward.

We should have a competion for ideas to present a system that will a list 10,000 years.

As for the regular enthusiast such as ourselves some of the more exotic techniques may be beyond our limited resources.

What do you thing.

Ian
