Event with a Fisheye and some guts

Stayed a few days with dear friends in Oberbayern (south of Munich) early this month.

They took us to a "Waldfest" in Bad Wiessee on the Tegernsee.  It was an idyllic location for a true bavarian evening full of food, drink, music and merriment, with most attendants in traditional dress (Trachten).  And an ideal occasion to get an insider view of the action with my fisheye lens (and that lens only).  Rokinon 7.5mm on E-M1.

Shooting a people-infused event with only a fisheye, the point is to get really close.  Images sniped from a distance will have no effect whatsoever.  Exuding a positive vibe and some charm helps.

For post-processing:  the usual basic optimalisation, including some de-fishing and a square crop for the whole series, in order to get consistency of presentation.

(Using brass band music as background is highly advized.  Watching while standing next to a wood-fired barbecue will enhance the immersion even further.)

Couldn't resist a little brassy self-portrait:
