Noisy Miner drove away Masked Lapwings
Last Sunday, I was shocked to hear a series of loud noises, "kekekekekekekek". Later, I learnt that it was made by a flock of masked lapwings.
As I looked out of the window, I saw a flock of masked lapwings alighting on the neighbor's roof. I had the opportunity to observe and took pictures of the flock when they were attacked and driven away by the brave and aggressive noisy miner bird.
I will let the below pictures tell the story. Location was in Belrose, Sydney at about 7 am.
Hope you enjoy the pictures taken with KP and DA 300mm.
