Washington, Alaska, and Yukon

Got a chance to visit these places recently and here are some shots from the trip. Lots of beautiful scenery and would like to spend even more time there. Pics were taken with a6300 + 85 and 24, and some from iPhone.

Unfortunately, it was overcast that day and even after driving 2 hrs from Seattle and hiking up the trail, we still couldn’t see the snow capped mountain top.

Early morning n the way to Juneau through the inside passage. The surrounding islands, iceberg, and the morning haze make it such a serene environment. Taken with iPhone through tinted glass (unintentional).

Here you can see blocks of ice still floating in the sea.

I was told that it’s a baby eagle, can anyone confirm? Juneau, taken with 85mm

Mendenhall glacier, Juneau. Taken with 85mm. The haze is so heavy there that it took quite a bit of processing to bring some detail of the glacier out. Still not completely happy with it.

Yukon, taken with 85mm

Yukon, taken with 85mm. This might be one of my favorite from the trip
