RX1R Mark II DOF and manual focus

Hello there,

not 100% sure this is the right section, as RX1R Mark II is a full frame, despite being called Cyber-Shot.

Anyways, I peeking at the aforementioned camera as a all-round camera. I am very intrigued by the size and IQ, however I am a little worried about the lack of manual focus metering on the lens + the fact that the DOF in the camera software is not very precise. Not only that, also the fact that when the camera is powered off it resets the focus to infinity is also a concern. As I have used zone focusing quite a lot in the past with other cameras, I wonder if:

1) the difficulty/impossibility to use zone focusing (I know there is a trick https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/59518815 ) with this camera may introduce problems for street photography

2) at the same time, since in streephotography photographers tend to have a very deep dof and almost everything in focus...why do you think that by having the camera resetting the focus distance to infinity (this is the default and only behaviour) is a source of concern for some photographers? (I am referring to this kind of discussions https://www.flickr.com/photos/marknye/11921718994 and https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/59518815)

Thanks in advance

Sony RX1R
