Some FZ200 flowers

Following some discussion in this thread about using close-up lenses on an FZ200 to photograph flowers, I spent some time yesterday photographing flowers in our garden with an FZ200, mostly using a Canon 500D close-up lens. Here are some of the images. (There are some more in this album at Flickr.)

These were captured as raw and processed using default settings in Silkypix, along with colour-recovery highlight reduction for two or three of them (it was a very bright sunny day), and then some light adjustment, often just cropping, in Lightroom. (On my screen at least these 1300 pixel high images look significantly better in terms of clarity/sharpness/detail when viewed with the dpreview viewer set to "100% Zoom" rather than "Fit to screen".)
