Re: Capture One Pro Styles - Should you buy?

There are two useful styles in Capture One in my opinion (as a street-documentary photographer). One of them being F11 of film styles, which I think simulates Kodachrome film. If you do not shoot with Fuji, and want something close to Classic Chrome, you may want to take a look at that.

The other one is a black and white style, inside the "Built-in Styles-LEGACY-B&W-Portrait 1". Beautiful black and white that pops up the human subjects.

If you are shooting nature, take a look at SPR-02 under Built-in Styles-SPRING.

All in all, the application of styles in Capture One is much more professional compared to Lightroom in my opinion. But the pricing just does not make sense. If you are a street-documentary photographer, I would suggest you to get the film-styles pack only. You won't need anything else.
