Best Fuji low-light prime street shooter?

Guessing it's the 35mm F1.4?

But that's not WR so hesitant to pick it up (plus the sales are currently off).

I was playing with my new 23mm F2 in average low light (night) conditions inside the house - and trying to get photos of kitten playing, and really I struggled to get a good pic. Either I had to bump the ISO far too high or shutter too slow to get crisp shots, just lots (and lots) of blur.

If the cat was perfectly still, I could get something decent - but even the slightest movement and game over.

About to take a trip, looking for a strategy for good evenings shots on the street.

Would I really see a big difference in a 1.4 over an F2?

What would be a good general setting for capturing motion in low light?

(as a beginner - is there an app, or device I can get that would recommend combinations for specific situations?)

I first try everything Auto to see what the camera recommends but it bumps the ISO up to some crazy figures.. Then I take away the auto control and leave the shutter Auto and all I get is black.

Thanks!
