I have read everything in this topic, however sometimes it went to deep i do understand quite a bit and it helped me to decide to stay with the 77D i now have and don't buy an older FF camera since it won't give me te extra's i am looking for. I think i will buy a 30mm f/1.4 in the near future and try to make better use of my TTL flash.

Here is how the Sigma 30/14 on crop compares to the Sigma 50/1.4 on crop at equivalent settings. Feel free to compare them both at f/1.4 as well.

Go FF.

Fast ~30mm lenses are a sore spot. Even the Zeiss Otus 28/1.4 underperforms the 50/1.4 Art. However, I think there is something wrong with all the 60D images on that website. They look soft even at f/4 to f/8, where aberrations should be minimal, especially center-frame. The 7D2 performs much better than the 60D where they are both tested with the same lenses.

Not much better. Just a little.

With the same lens and f-number, a natural progression of aberration from center to corner generally makes image-level aberration similar in the corners of different sensor sizes, but the 60D does far worse than expected considering that, in these tests. It could be that the 60D has wrong lens correction applied, unintentionally, or maybe it has a particularly strong AA filter.
