Re: Who has both Olympus 12-100mm and 40-150mm f2.8?

In my case both are useful. I actually started off with the Pany 35-100 f2.8 for concert photography because I figured the much bigger 40-150 f2.8 would be much more difficult to get into some venues. However, I really missed the extra reach so eventually got the longer lens with 1.4x TC. It's much more useful - for me - than the 35-100, and f2.8 is better than f4.0 for stage photography.

The 12-100 came some time later with a new body, and is very useful most of the time, unless it's not long or wide enough, it's too dark, etc; most of the time it does the job though, and not having to change lenses as often is great.

I don't normally carry around the 40-150, but the 12-100 is much more versatile.
