Quick comments about the M50 battery grip....

My case from Milo came today. Obviously I'll need to shoot a bunch with it, but I figured I'd post some pictures and give you some first impressions. These are just iPhone pics, so don't expect much.
There are no instructions with the case, but Milo has a number of videos on his website that demonstrate how to put it on:
M50 Battery case
It's a snug fit, but I did get it on, using the screw on the bottom into the tripod mount. The batteries (18630) need to be snug in the battery holder in order for the case to slide into the grip. Make sure before you do that to put the dummy battery into the camera. After the battery holder is slid into the grip, the cord from the holder is threaded through and put in the hole under the rubber slide that opens the camera battery compartment. It worked fine, powered the camera on, showing 100% battery power. There are two things I noticed that were possible issues. One, and less important, is that there is a gap on the right side of the camera, because the camera grip is curved and the holder is straight. You can see the gap at the top in one of the pictures. More important to me was the fact that although there is a nice magnetic door over the hole that the battery holder slides into, there is no cover on the bottom of the case. The fact that the soldered wires are essentially open to the weather means I'd be really nervous about using this in a shoot where there was a chance of rain. Not sure what would happen to the camera if there was a short in those wires where they attach to the case. Other than those two things, it's very solid, easy to hold, and not massive in size. Hangs well with a strap, and I can see using it in certain settings, especially in good weather.
This is what the bottom looks like after it's all hooked up. As you can see it's open. The wires from the battery holder are at the top, and relatively exposed.

Left side of the camera; the battery holder door is on the left.
This shows the gap on the right front of the camera. It fits snugly below but because of the lack of a curve in the case this gap is left at the top.
It has this nice magnetic door covering the battery holder door.
With the door removed this is the end of the battery holder.

And this is the battery holder.
I'm looking forward to putting this through the paces at a shoot in a few weeks....
