A good camera but too much dust and no solution to get rid of it.

Here is the latest image I did with this camera :

150 euros asked by Nikken (official Panasonic repair in France) and I did it it already 3 times....

Sorry to read this. This continues to be a major issue. And there will be some here who will disagree with me, but there is an implied warranty against dust on the sensor on an non interchangeable lens camera. I do think the problem was worse in the LX100...and if they fixed the problem in the MK II they would not admit it readily because that would be like admitting the knew they had a possible recall issue with the LX100 or at least a free fix past warranty. Shame, it's a great camera. What I did was search for the email address of a higher up in this division of Panasonic. In my case, I am in the USA. It worked for me big time. Under warranty Panasonic paid for an overnight ship and return and a 4 day turnaround. Out of warranty they offered to pay half the repair which here in at least So. California it's $75.00 us dollars, they offered to pay half. I still have all emails attesting to this. But during all these exchanges, they never admitted to having a issue with dust. Maybe you could find a camera repair shot not affiliated with Panasonic. Here is CALIFORNIA the going price everywhere is $75.00

Good luck!

Rick
