Mostly, I just charge up several batteries for my Canon and Pentax DSLRs. As OllieN has already noted, a couple of DSLR batteries generally last through a long a session as I need. Recently, however, I've been using a power bank connected to a dummy battery in the Canon, and have found it be be useful.

It's my understanding, though, that mirrorless cameras go through batteries a lot more quickly than DSLRs do. I've been contemplating a switch to a Sony model myself, and that is one of the impediments that's kept me from pulling the trigger. It looks like an external supply may be almost mandatory. Amazon sell this one  for the Sony.  It feeds the dummy battery from USB ports on a power bank.
