No.... that'd be silly.... why take the crop and speed hit of aps-c, when you can shoot an R or RP, and only slightly larger than the m5. Now I'd LOVE an M camera that is FF.
Some people need 30MP in APSC. So they would need 75MP+ in FF. This would be ideal with 10 fps but probably very expensive. So many would prefer the cost of APSC.
I think they should make a high res FF where you can set what crop mode you want and get increases speed with that. Could be a usable compromise to reach 10 FPS at maybe 30MP or perhaps even 24MP or something.
Fully agree. But there is just one negative to this.
FF sized and priced lenses. But then again... why not? If you take full equivalence into account, then you still end up with expensive and massive APS-C lenses. Just look at the monster recently fuji lens.
Most people using the 7D II for action shooting are probably using FF lenses anyway. Well I certainly am. I don't think it needs APS-C lenses, to be honest.
I sold my 7D II recently as I’m too busy these days to log enough time on it, but during the three years it spent with me, it had EF-S lenses mounted on it maybe four times. Most of the time it ended up glued to the 100-400L2, for the express purpose of shooting creatures; for anything less demanding than that, I’d carry an M2 or M5 (when size mattered) or a 6D (when it didn’t).
