Olympus Zero coated protection filters...

Hi there,

Are any owners of the Zero coated protective filters for the 12-40 and 40-150 able to comment on the usefulness of these w.r.t. any loss of contrast, vignetting, flares and the like?

I've just received a 40-150, and know that the event work it will be used for will not be very kind to it.

I've never bothered with protective filters before. I'm guessing that with the Zero coating they could outperform some other protective filters.

Before I shell out £100+ on the pair of the filters I was wondering what owners' thoughts were on them.

TIA.
