Tricky macro photography: what went possibly wrong?

Thank you Mark. That idea makes a lot of sense. High ISO seems a norm as we need high shutter speed and small aperture. May be at some point additional lighting too will be required. I prefer to have nice bokeh on closeup shots. I have started to use f4 to f5.6 more often for macro. I will practice more to find sweet spot. All in all macro is a lot challenging than i thought.
