To further elaborate on wim's answer, I need to point out that my WB is sometimes made  a bit "erratically" : I'll try several bright and grey points on the picture, from pixels in the foliage to white points in the sky, and try different places till I find a white balance I like.

Furthermore, I think it's important to note that the sky on my pictures, after the r/b channel swap, always turned grey-ish, and then was made blue again using a brush in LR (works well enough for me)

One last thing that I noted : scenes that are mostly just trees seems to have little to no interest and often turn out pretty flat with the grIII, as opposed to parks/house pictures (with elements that aren't ir-reflective) where you have some elements to white balance on, that also create contrast with the foliages.
