I have no need for these features. I have no need for another bit of information cluttering up my evf to show me whether IS is engaged, which is perfectly visible in the viewfinder anyway. I have no need for auto iso to cover the extended ISO range because I will get better results without it. I have no need for another display of a focus scale in the evf when I am trying to concentrate on the image. I have no need for turning off live view between frames, which will ruin my ability to predict and capture the moment..

I can enter the menu in bulb mode already.

I certainly have no need to see these items adding as options to an already complex menu system.

I agree that you should respect other people’s requests... nothing wrong with that. The point I was making is that you had done exactly the opposite of that by presuming that other people want those features and that they were consequently ‘missing’.

It also seems rather ungracious to criticise what is an excellent, free, firmware update to a 3 year old camera by criticising it for not adding in a few rather dubious features that not everyone wants.
