Summer is Here

She was climbing up to pose for her friend, but stopped to pose for me.

An interesting question:  Are the people on the streets, whom we have not met, strangers? or are they fellow actors in the human comedy, people with whom we might connect, with who we are already connected?  Does the act of taking their picture just ratify the distance between our self, and the self of the people we may already know, on one side of a line, and of these other alien beings?   Or do our photos celebrate a pre-existing connection, one of sorrow and joy, with all of our fellow humanity?

Of course there is not a right answer, or a wrong answer, but our answer to this question will be reflected in our photos.
