A little PP challenge: X-T2 & 14/2.8 image on a somewhat dull day

The light on the suburb wasn't particularly interesting, the contrast between sky and foreground too high and the image itself only so-so ...

I had a little play with the file, but any results I go left me somewhat lukewarm, delete quickly material I thought.

Enough drama in the sky but not worth keeping (I did a comparison here with the Tokina Firin 20/2 but won't post any photos here).

I am sure that somebody can get a little bit more out of this than I did, my sample here a mere dabbling with layers to throw some light at the foreground with imo only limited success.
