EOS R (CR3) sharpness, detail, noise settings in lightroom (architecture)

Hi All,

I have made the jump from Nikon (D810) to the EOS R for several reasons including the fantastic Canon TSE shift lenses. That being said, as an architectural photographer accutance and sharpness are very important in my images.

Being an architectural photographer using Lightroom exclusively in my workflow I have some questions about preferred settings (which will become my import preset) for DETAIL dialog sliders in the develop module of Lightroom working on the CR3 (converted to DNG) files from the EOS-R. For my D810 files, I liked the results with Lightroom Detail dialog settings of: 80-90 Sharpening, Radius of 0.8, Detail of 30, and Masking of 30 with 0 Luminance Noise reduction and Color Noise Reduction of 25-50-50 (default). My Nikon settings seem too crispy/noisy for the EOS R files (I realize that's not a technical term).

My photos are generally wide angle, with 16-35L3, 24TSE, 17TSE, and 24-105RF. I almost always photograph on a tripod at 100ISO at f8.

Software sharpening is usually a very personal subject* and I'm looking forward to a lively discussion about your opinions. Thanks for your advice for a new Canon user.

* Yes, I understand that there are other, better RAW converters that do a better job of converting and sharpening and enhancing the cowbell of Canon Raw files, but my workflow and extensive archive is Lightroom, so I'm most interested in how to make the best LR sharpening/detail import preset possible, warts and all.
