Crystal Ball Splash Progression

Twas out with the Crystal ball last week and liked this one but then thought to correct the inversion and add a splash for effect and depth- the original colors seemed spanky but the image is flat from the low shutter speed so I thought to spruce it up.

Here is the progression fo any Crystal ball fans, its essentially a fisheye so it works best on large or small curvilinear scenes - natural ones like beach sunsets work best IMHO.

It has been my experience most subject will look lame w/o thinking of it as a fisheye

start - cloned out the 1" glass stand below the ball - nothing else was done here

re - inversion of the ball - some inconsistent gradients below the ball but the splash brushing will obliterate them.

Splash- O - Rama

tried to creat a " blasted off the rocks" effect- think the splash can be better but the basic effect seems ok.
