Rejoice, Rejoice :) The little gem in today's E-M1 mk2 firmware update

One thing that makes me jump on the couch while reading the list of goodies in today's E-M1mk2 firmware update...

C-AF+MF : E-M1x: Already available, E-M1 mk2:

For us 4/3 lens users, this is a feature we had to dig back to the E-5 (10 years ago) to get.

This allows us now to manually "jolt" / "correct" AF while in C-AF, on 4/3 lenses other than the three SWD ones (for all other, the focus ring was inactive in C-AF mode on any m43 camera but the E-M1x, as it was fly by wire and not active in C-AF mode at all).

In layman's terms - this brings the 50-200mm mk1 (non-SWD) as a healthy choice now, as opposed to the 50-200mm mk2 (SWD) having been the only viable option before.

For those familiar with the two - the mk1 is marginally smaller, which can be important, the 50-200mm mk1 being a large small lens, while the 50-200mm SWD is a small large lens.

Thanks, Olympus
