I've fallen in love with my old 50-200mm four thirds lens

I took an Olympus bird photography workshop last weekend, and because my longest lens was my old non SWD 50-200m lens with it's 1.4 converter, that is the lens I used. My camera is the OMD E-M1 MK2.

Though I find it heavy for long hand holding, I found it focused much quicker than I thought it would, and it is really sharp.

Here are a couple of shots from the workshop and two that I shot this morning, while sitting out in my garden to practice what I learned last weekend. Both the hummingbird, and especially the yellow jacket needed major cropping as they weren't that close to me.

I know they aren't perfectly sharp, but I like them, and I think the lens has wonderful contrast and a delicious quality I can't quite put my finger on.
