shooting on Nikon D7500

I have a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 VC lens I picked up used.

The idea was for shooting my son's indoor sport (floorball, low light) but that's not happening anymore.

The other use might be my other son's soccer (Australia, nearly always great light even i the winter)

I also have the Nikon 70-300 AF-P DX VR which does fine in the daylight. Much, much lighter.

Anyone convince me to not sell the Tamron?

And on some very unscientific tests, the little Nikon seems sharper than the Tamron.

I had this lens and upgraded to G2 so if your 70-300mm is sharper than there is something wrong with your Tamron.
