Can I shoot photos with 7d and have the photos sent to my desktop computer at home? If so, can I also do it if I travel to Europe?

There are two common ways of adding WI-Fi to a 7D.

The first is the ridiculously expensive $1399 EOS 7D Mark II Wi-Fi Adapter Kit.

The second is to buy a SD Wi-Fi card and a CF adapter that will allow you to use the SD card in your 7D. Search the DPReview Accessories Talk Forum for examples of this. It should be noted that the metal frame of the 7D can cause problems with this solution so I would limit it to transmitting to a receiver you carry with you such as your phone or a tablet.

Why do you think that is ridiculously expensive? It is a camera and a card.....

My bad.  You are right, it is a 7D Mk II plus the W-E1 wi-fi card.

It looks like the Canon Wi-Fi adapter for the 7D is no longer available.
