Yes, the 6T is out of production, so if you really want one you'll need to keep your eye on the used market. The going price reflects its quality.

I was very fortunate to pick one up at zero cost: a member of my Camera Club passed away & his widow let the club members have any of his peripheral equipment - filters, cables, etc. - they wanted. One of those "filters" was a 6T!

Works great on an FZ2500 as well, but needs a step-down ring to fit.

Another alternative to the Nikon 6 is the Olympus Mcon 35, also out of production. It is 2.86 diopter rather than 3 of the Nikon and has the same 62mm thread..

I have this one that I picked up on eBay, it is an excellent lens. It is fairly heavy but I have had no problems with it on FZ200 and FZ300.
