Do older generation Fuji's provide better color?
4

My X-T2 has been my main camera for the past few years while the X-E2 has been gathering dust in the closet.  I have a trip coming up and decided to take the X-E2 for weight considerations, so I started using it again.

For whatever nonscientific reason, I prefer the color quality of the X-E2 over the X-T2.  The X-E2 has the older gen sensor and seems to have richer, more satisfying skin tones.  I shoot in both RAW and JPEG.

My reason for posting is to see if others have had the same experience.

If so, I may purchase a used X-Pro1 to complement my setup.  I'd be interested to know just how updated the camera has become with the latest firmware.  I don't need superfast focusing, but I would like it to be accurate and reasonably quick in good light.

Thank you,
Robert
