Get an X-E3, it has fast af, faster than any of the X100 models. Pair it with one of the fast f2 lenses (23, 35, 50) and you’re set. I bought mine used in mint condition from Adorama, best decision I made. Awesome camera.

”New AF algorithm for smooth continuous shooting.

Thanks to the newly developed image recognition algorithm, the FUJIFILM X-E3 is able to track moving subjects twice as fast as previous models*. In addition, the FUJIFILM X-E3 is also able to track moving subjects of half the size as before.”

After all is said and done and your photo is hanging on the wall, no one is going to know or care what camera, lens, or what post processing you used. All they care about is if the image moves them.
