If you can wait a few weeks I'd be willing to bet if you're diligent you could find a used xt30. You're going to want the auto focus speed. I get by with my xh1 but my daughter just turned one and my burst accuracy is starting to get a hair high on misses vs hits. The 35 1.4 is definitely not a speed demon. If it's better on the xt30 then you may be able to get by with it. If you get enough light in your house the 35f2 is certainly much faster. The 56 1.2 is obviously awesome but it really takes getting your kiddo sitting still and it would soak your budget. For something longer you should find yourself a copy of the Canon FD mount 50mm 1.4 and an adapter. In total you should be able to find good condition copy plus the FD to X adapter for about $70 which really can't be beat.
