Why does my XT2 default to max ISO when set to auto ISO?

Yep. ISO dial is locked on A. Now, the EVF live view shows ISO of 6400. Then, if I half press of the shutter release button, the EVF shows the real-time (adjusted) ISO. All is good now.

For future reference [as this comes up regularly]: with Auto ISO enabled, the EVF will show "ISOA1 6400", half pressed "ISO 800" (or whatever is metered). It is small print, but it is there.
