Upgrade from X-E2 to X-T30?
Upgrade from X-E2 to X-T30?
May 23, 2019
Hey All!
I've got an X-E2 since it was first released way back in the day.
I love the form factor, but I find that it's a little slow and doesn't really offer IQ THAT much better than my Samsung Note 9.
I initially was planning to purchase the 23mm f2 WR lens (I have the 35mm f2 WR but find it's sometimes too narrow), but noticed that the X-T30 and the X-E3 both come in a 23mm lens kit.
So now I'm seeking some advice -- should I:
- Get the lens only ($399 USD)
- Upgrade to the X-E3 kit with the 23mm ($949 USD)
- Upgrade to the X-T30 kit with the 23mm ($1298 USD)
Are there significant differences between the X-E and the X-T series? I don't really understand why these are different camera categories. Why would someone choose the X-E over the X-T?
