Focus Stacking carnivorous plants (Sundew)

Hi all,

recently I got into doing macros of some carnivorous plants. While the single frame results are pretty cool (at least thats what I think). Im having some trouble when stacking multiple exposures.

Im using the pretty straight forward way of opening all layers in PS then aligning them and then stacking. But it seems PS has issues with this small fine details...

Adjusting by hand is an option but immensely time consuming.

Any recommendations?

Setup:
A7r3 (M, no OSS)
SEL90m28 (f/8 or f/11)
Tripod
Focus Rail
